I tried to download the most up to date Windows XP Drivers for my mothers computer but on Microsoft's website it asks you as if everything is for your current computer. Any way to do what I am asking? Thank you.
Goto the Mircosoft website, click on the program you need, and click download drivers, its as simple as that.
Go the Pdownload drivers for windows xpC' manufacturer's website and find the XP device drivers, for here specific PC Model number.
Then, download all of them to your desktop, and copy them to a USB key or CD.
Then, transfer them to your Mom's PC, and install them.
Use Mom's computer.
Log on to CNET.com
Download 'TechTracker'.
Run it.
It will scan thdownload drivers for windows xpe PC, find drivers with newer versions, install them or let YOU do it.
Oh yeah, it's FREE.

If I was you get the drivers from a alternative website and download them on to a cd/usb stick or sd card then on your mothers pc go to Control Panel > Hardware > and set it up! Cheers
