Since no one mentionline games freewareoned it: Battlefield Heroes. It's made by the same people that made the Battlefield PC and XBOX (etc) games... so you know its good. There's even matchmaking... they'll put you up against people of your skill level. It's cartoony, though. =P
I think one of the best free FPS is Alien Arena, I found it at and it's really good, plus it'sonline games freeware graphics are great. Soldier Front is OK (just OK)
