I am wondering what some good summer dance programs are for teenagers (I'm 14). I am thinking about the following to attend and would like to know which ones are best: Bates College Young Dancers Workshop; Interlochen Summer Program; NC Governors School Summer Dance Program; University of North Carolina School of the Arts; American Dance Festival [at Duke University].
i know one where you learn hip hop. it's the best (but the cheapest in NYC) for teenagers and adults as well:

SUMMER INTENSIVE 2009

From June 26th-August 29th 2009 The BLADE Academy in conjunction with The Hip-Hop Dance Conservatory in NYC is holding its Annual Summer Intensive.

Dancers of all skill levels from all over the world travel to this hip-hop dance intensive every year! No auditions are required and no experience is necessary.

The purpose of this Summer Intensive is to enable dancers of varying levels to develop basic to advanced knowledge and skills in hip-hop dance through acquisition of BLADE Dance Technique, choreographic skill, aesthetic awareness, and performance quality wiamerican college dance festivalthin a cultural, historical and practical context.

The classes will include, but not be limited to, the following:

Choreography Gauntlet (learning various HDC repertory)
Contextual Classes (anatomy, dance theory, kinesiology etc.).
Body Conditioning (get the dancer body and learn to maintain it)
Hip-Hop 101 (what is hip-hop?)
Cipher Circle (intensive work on freestyle)
NYC Outings (trips, projects and the sort)
End of intensive performance (great way to end off over 2 months of intense training)
AND MUCH MORE!!
Note: All dancers will receive a certificate upon completion of the intensive .
