I'm a 17 year old kid from arizona and I'm home-schooled. I'm in love with a girl in Ohio, and I can't tell if she loves me back. I am getting a lot of mixed messages from her. She puts hearts randomly when were talking on IM. We've been friends for about 3 years now.
I fell in love with her last June (cause I had a dream about her and I told her and it kinda freaked her out) but there was another girl already. In the middle of the relationship with that other girl Shelby ( that's the one I'm in love with now) told me that she loves me. (not a sex dream just a dream) Everything fell apart with the other girl. Shelby supported me through the breakup, I was mostly unaffected by it though.
Every now and then she sends me songs with lyrics. Fall for you by second hand serenade, Set you apart by a bunch of random rappers, and Everything you want by Vertical Horizon. After I listened to them I said that I love her and she kinda freaked out. "Awe thanks, I luv you too" but it took her a couple minutes to say it.
In a year or two I will be going up to Ohio to meet her. I'm just really confused about her. Its like she loves me but there's always that disappointing taint at the end of it. What should I do? And I don't want all your crap about how long distance relationships don't work. That's not what I'm asking about.

talk to her friends. they might not tell you, but they do know.
if they don't tell you, that's not a bad sign, just say sweet things about her and they WILL reach her ears. don't come across as too last song second hand serenade lyricsheavy though. don't use "love" or make allusions to forever and stuff because she hasn't said anything to you. even if she feels the same way that will still freak her out.

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW u should go and tell her because its better if u do and if she puts hearts she likes u!!! thats adorable and u should like bring her flowers when u do because she fcant say no and do it fast before u leave! u should also tell her very sincerally and like make sure its the right time and tell her u love her and hold her hand when u do but dont be shy or awkward if she doesnt repy but smiles thats a yes and if she doesnt thats ok to but she will be happy and dont forget to kiss her or else it would be weird saying u love her but no kiss

She probably love you, but she doesn't know what to do, because you live so far away. Just take it slow. Oh, and when you go meet her buy her flowers or 拙克力s. Or both. Be a gentleman. Just be a really good friend, and then, if it's meant to be, she will fall hard for you.

omg funny how your going through this because my big sister and her husband went through it all it began as friends and let me tell you i always fought with her putting her down that it will never work she liked this other guy ilast song second hand serenade lyricsn hanford ca. and that's were she lived the one long distance lived in lumberton texas and she did love him just she had thought that it wouldn't work out either so she liked some other guy on the side just in case her texas guys thought the same thing like he didn't know yes or no he couldn't understand they would get mad and not talk for years but then he would call back and say sorry and explained y he was sorry but after about 8 years of this on and off relationship he came for thanksgiving two year's ago oh and she had a kid too but that was before he met her well neways he came two years ago he was alright very nice generous guys he wanted to meet us he stayed her at our house and my mom slept him on the floor it was a test he was down to sleep their but he couldn't sleep in the same room then when he went back a month later he took her with him and she never came back they got married up their had a kid and another on the way he adopted her first son he went to court and paid for his name to get changed took him in as his own all his family loves her and her son evan if it ain't his they never put him aside and it worked out so yup no one can say they don't not evan me . . . but in march this year were going to visit and i cant wait i loved his cooking and his pretty cool i hate him for taking her away and mostly because my first lil nephew left with him too yes i fought with her but i loved my big sis
